About the Project

This archive began with a collection of discarded teaching slides and films purchased on eBay. Initially, the goal was to learn the digitisation process and transform the images into 3D prints as a way of bringing scientific specimens to life.

But it quickly became clear that the images themselves had enormous value for teaching and research. Rather than restrict access to them, I made the decision to digitise the entire collection and make it freely accessible.

By sharing these images openly, the project ensures that valuable teaching resources are not lost to time but can continue to inspire and educate future generations.
