WELCOME!
The Digital Specimen Archive is a freely accessible collection of rescued teaching materials. It contains digitised 35 mm slides, negatives, 8 mm film, and microscopic slides that were originally used for education in biology, medicine, and related sciences.
By making these resources available online, the aim of this project is to preserve them and support teachers, students, and researchers with visual material that can be reused in lectures, workshops, and independent learning.
All collections are permanently archived on Figshare, where they can be downloaded and cited using a DOI.
